A harness that combines a backpack for your child and a retractable leash for teaching skiing or snowboarding.

  • The first and only harness specifically designed for teaching snowboarding. Our harness also works extremely well for skiing.

    Included:
    -A small backpack 10″H x 8″W x 2″D
-A retractable leash with 16 feet of tape with two elastics.
-Removable seat/strap provides extra support for small children.
    -Maximum weight 45LBS
-Tested and approved by CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors)

    THE LEASH:
-The MDXONE “OX” has a 16 foot retractable rope with two 12″ bungees at the end to connect to backpack/harness attachment points.

-With the retractable leash, you can now decide the distance between you and your child by simply pressing the stop button with your thumb.

-When you press the stop button, the elastic cords will expand slowly, without causing any sudden effect on the student.

-Try to let your child descend freely without having any tension in the rope. Keep an eye on the child's toes at all times. When you see their toes getting closer to the ground, press the stop button or put more tension on the rope to avoid or slow down the fall.

THERE IS NO LOCK BUTTON ON THE RETRACTABLE LEASH, only a stop button.

    THE BACKPACK:
    -MDXONE “OX” is a small 5-point backpack/harness (10″H x 9″W x 2″D)

-Removable seat/strap for extra support, especially for smaller children.

-The OX has three attachment points for the retractable leash and to practice three important points in snowboarding. Go straight down, on the heels and on the toes.

    -Adjustable chest and waist straps.
